Welcome to EAA Chapter 526 Members

EAA Chapter 526 is located on the Auburn Municipal Airport in the beautiful foothills at Auburn, California.  It is our goal to share the world of aviation with our friends and the local community.  We would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to attend our special events as well as our monthly meetings.  For more about EAA and the Auburn chapter, please see the About Us page.

Please click the links on the left for more information about our Young Eagles program (free local flights for youngsters at the Auburn airport, and sponsored tuition at the EAA Air Academy), airplane projects, KidVenture at Oshkosh, meeting schedule, and more.

Current items:

Our final flight rally of 2019 was held on Saturday, October 12.  Overall during seven rallies from April through October, our volunteer pilots flew a total of 260 Young Eagles.  We will resume flight rallies in April 2020.  Check this website early in the year for dates and times.

Every year Chapter 526 pays the tuition for one or more Young Eagles to attend the EAA Air Academy in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for a week.  For 2020 the Chapter will partner with the Auburn Aviation Association to combine the selection process for the Air Academy with the selection process for AAA’s Student Pilot Scholarship Program.  Details and links will be posted to this website by late December.

The annual holiday dinner for Chapter 526 members and their guests will be held on December 11 in Auburn.  Additional information will be available by mid_November.
