October 12th, 2024 was the airport's 90th Anniversary. It was an incredible celebration with everyone in the greater Auburn area. Take a look at the event photo gallery.
The Auburn airport is a hub of activity and a great place to visit. The airport is one of the few in the nation allowing pedestrian access to look at aircraft and walk the property. Between the CHP, Placer County Sheriff, PG&E, the five different flight schools, local pilots, visiting aircraft, and the occassioanl car show, it seems something is always happening.
